Help us reach our goal for 2013 of over 1000 combined participants over $60,000 raised for charities and organizations in and around campus.
2013 O’Bleness Health System Race for a Reason will be held on April 27, 2013.
REGISTRATION IS OPEN! Click here!
Getting involved is as easy as 1…2…3…
1. Choose a Race
Run as an individual or with a student organization in one of three unique races:
• 5K Run/Walk: A traditional 5K run/walk that will start in the Walter Hall parking lot and finish at Tailgreat Park.
• Mud Run: A challenging and non-traditional run starting in the Walter Hall parking lot and heading up to the Army ROTC Training course at the Ridges, through mud pits and obstacles, before heading down to a slip-n-slide finish line at Tailgreat Park.
•Triathlon/Duathlon: A short sprint format that begins at the Ohio University Aquatic Center heading out-of-town on a challenging bike course before returning to campus to complete a 5K run and finish at Tailgreat Park.
2. Choose a Reason
Select a charity, non-profit organization or cause that means something to you and set a goal to raise money for that reason through pledges and donations.
3. Begin Fundraising
Reach out to family and friends for pledges to reach your goal. When you register, a portion of your registration fee will automatically be donated to the charity of your choice!
